Chandigarh Education PGT Recruitment 2024 Vacancies
PGT (Masters/Mistresses): 303 vacancies (UR-136, EWS-30, OBC-82, SC-55) (PWD-12, Ex.SM-30) for Chandigarh Education Department Schools, Pay Scale: ₹9300-34800/- Grade Pay ₹4600/- (to be revised as per 7th CPC as Pay Level-7 ₹44900-142400), Age: 21-37 years.
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹1000/- (₹500 for SC candidates, no fee for PWD candidates) is to be paid through online mode/challan.
Selection Process
Selection will be through one objective type test of 150 Marks of 2 hours and 30 minutes of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The difficulty level of questions will be of the 10th standard. Negative marking of .25 marks for each wrong answer. Qualifying marks for the test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be conducted.
