JEE Advanced 2023: The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2023 will be conducted on June 4. IIT Guwahati, the hosting institute, recently released the admit cards for the exam. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the official JEE Advanced website — jeeadv.ac.in
— Candidates need to carry admit cards to the exam hall as no student will be allowed to enter without first showing the hall tickets. Along with that, students will also be asked to show their valid original photo identity card (any one of the following: Aadhaar card, school/college/institute ID, driving license, voter ID, passport, PAN card, and the signed certificate with the photograph). Only candidates having a valid admit card and photo identity card will be allowed to write the examination.
— The identity of the candidate will be verified at the center by the invigilator as well as IIT representatives. No extra time will be given for completing the exam instead of the time taken to complete the formalities.
— Use of unfair means or impersonation in the exam will be considered a serious offence and may lead to legal action.
— All candidates will have to go through extensive and compulsory frisking before entering the examination centre.
—Candidates are allowed to carry pens, pencils, drinking water in transparent bottles, a downloaded admit card, and an original photo identity card only.
— Items like smart/ digital/ programmable/ analog watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands or any other electronic gadgets, any printed / blank/handwritten paper, log tables, writing pads, scales, erasers, geometry/pencil-boxes, pouches, calculators, pen drives, electronic pens/ scanner, wallets, handbags, camera, goggles or similar such items are not allowed.
— Wearing charm/ taweez, items containing metals such as rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, and clothes with big buttons are not advisable to wear. candidates are advised to wear open footwear like chappals and sandals.
— Candidates must reach the examination centre in advance and carry out the requisite formalities as mentioned in the admit card.
— Candidates arriving at the examination centre after the commencement of the examination in each paper (09:00 am for Paper 1 and 14:30 pm for Paper 2) will not be allowed to take the examination under any circumstances.
— Candidates cannot leave the examination hall before 12:00 pm for Paper 1 and before 17:30 pm for Paper 2.
— The responses of only those candidates who have appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be evaluated/graded. So, appearing in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 is compulsory.
