The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently made important announcements regarding the upcoming CUET UG 2023 examination. On May 16, the NTA released the exam city intimation slip for all registered candidates. This slip provides crucial information such as the assigned exam city, date, shift, subjects or test papers, and the medium chosen during the online application process. Candidates can easily access and download their slips from the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in
The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2023) is scheduled to be held on May 25, 26, 27, and 28. However, due to an overwhelming number of registered candidates in certain cities, the NTA has taken the necessary measures to accommodate everyone. As a result, the exam dates have been extended to June 1, 2, 5, and 6 in these high-demand cities. Moreover, to account for any unforeseen circumstances or contingencies, June 7 and 8 have been reserved as buffer or backup dates. This ensures that the examination can be conducted smoothly and without any undue pressure on the candidates.
In addition to the date extension, it has been confirmed that the CUET UG will officially commence on May 21. Candidates who are scheduled to take the exam between May 21 and 24 have already received their exam city slips. These slips serve as an important document that candidates must carry with them to their respective exam centers.
It is important to note that while the City Intimation Slip provides detailed information about the subjects or test papers selected during the online application process, some candidates may have chosen subjects that are different from what is displayed on their slips. The NTA has reassured such candidates that updated slips reflecting their chosen subjects will be issued subsequently.
The recent extension of the CUET UG 2023 exam date was officially announced by Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, the UGC chief. He took to his official Twitter handle to inform candidates about the changes and ensure that all concerned individuals are aware of the updated schedule.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website and their email for any further updates or notifications from the NTA. It is crucial to stay informed about the latest developments to avoid any confusion or last-minute complications regarding the CUET UG 2023 examination.
